Peer Review Process and Journal Expectations

Peer Review Process and Journal Expectations promotional image

Sponsors: Lichtenberger Engineering Library and Sciences Library

The peer review process is an important component of scholarly publication and one which brings a host of new expectations, jargon, and acronyms which researchers are often expected to pick up entirely on their own. This workshop will focus on what expectations journals will have of their authors and will provide clarity as to what the peer review process actually looks like, so that you can avoid common pitfalls and pain points for an often opaque process.

This workshop will be a hybrid event with the Zoom Link sent out prior to the event.

Presented by Fatima Toor, PhD, Associate Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering, and Chair, UI Faculty Research Council.
